A blue screen error can’t damage a hard drive, no matter how many you get. The errors are reactions to problems, not causes of problems.
Can BSOD be caused by HDD?
Yes. Bad hard drives cause BSODs all the time. You can check the system logs in Event Viewer.
Is BSOD harmful for PC?
Although a BSoD won’t damage your hardware, it can ruin your day. You’re busy working or playing, and suddenly everything stops. You’ll have to reboot the computer, then reload the programs and files you had open, and only after all that get back to work. And you may have to do some of that work over.
How do you check if my HDD is damaged?
Type cmd or command into the taskbar search field and click Command Prompt to open the Command Prompt. In the Command Prompt, type in wmic diskdrive get status and press Enter. If the status reads OK, that means you’ve passed the Windows 10 hard drive test and your hard drive is healthy.

As mentioned, the blue screen error is often caused by faulty or corrupted drivers. If you have been using an outdated driver, it might not be compatible with your system anymore, thus, causing the problem.
