You can use an HDMI splitter to connect and operate multiple devices through one HDMI port. An HDMI splitter simply has a cable with an HDMI plug on one side and on the other side (depending on the HDMI splitter type) you can have two, three and even four HDMI ports.
Can I use 2 HDMI switches together?
You can daisy chain two HDMI switchers. It may or may not work. Try it if you don’t have to buy a second one. In general it’s best to use one switcher with enough inputs.
Can you plug an HDMI switch into another HDMI switch?
Yes you can. You can also get an HDMI switch with 2 outputs.
Can you stack HDMI switches?
Yes, completely allowed and supported by the HDMI and HDCP specifications. I believe HDCP spec allows for up to 7 layers of daisy chaining. Keep in mind that the image may take a couple seconds longer to come up because each layer has to be authenticated serially.
