Does dual monitor affect electricity?
2 monitors of same make/model uses twice the power of one. Compared to older tech like CRT, they use less power but since you have the new TVs it is a moot point. The specifications for the monitor will likely provide power consumption when on or sleeping so you can decide the environmental impact of your hardware.

Does second monitor need power supply?
Your computer power supply has nothing to do with running two monitors… they get power from their own power connections, and only data from the pc.
Do dual monitors affect performance?
So, does running multiple monitors kill your gaming performance? Maybe if you have a really low end GPU, and like 5 monitors you might see an impact. But in the grand scheme of things, no it doesn’t matter.

Does dual monitors take more CPU power?
Yes you will. Just hooking up the second monitor will cause the power draw to go up. (I think normal these days is around 10-15W.) Doing anything on it like a movie will cause your frame rates to go down as the CPU and GPU have more work to do.
