You can’t play music or make phone calls, for example. Still, it’s a nice addition to Vector’s skill set. Vector-as-Alexa responds much faster than Vector on his own, but I do wish Anki could make him respond in his own voice rather than Alexa’s.

How do you upgrade the Vector robot?
Open the Vector Robot app on your smart device and connect to Vector. Click the gear icon at the top right to access Settings, then click “Updates”. If an update is available, you will see an “Apply Update” button. Press the “Apply Update” button to initiate the update.
How long does the Vector robot last?
A charge lasted around 30 or so minutes. We got around 45 minutes of play time out of it before it went and found its dock and started charging again – it will last even longer if it isn’t constantly driving around or playing games with you.
